Do you offer online counseling?

Yes, I offer online counseling.

What are your hours?

My hours are Monday - Friday 9 AM – 9 PM, Saturday 9 AM – 2 PM.

How long are sessions?

Sessions are 50 minutes long.

How much do you charge?

My rate is $150 per session.

Do you take insurance?

I am considered an "Out-Of-Network" provider, which means I do not accept any insurance directly.


If you would like to use your insurance, then I am able to provide you with a monthly receipt called a "Superbill" and you can submit this to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.


I recommend calling your insurance provider directly and checking with them to confirm if you have "Out Of Network" benefits.

Why would I choose to pay private pay instead of using my insurance benefits?

Many of my clients actually prefer to work with me privately and not involve their insurance at all. This is because in order to use your insurance for counseling, a mental health diagnosis is required, and this gets attached to your record. Insurance can also put limitations on the number of counseling sessions you can have, prior to truly completing the process.


And by not taking insurance, I’m able to maintain a smaller caseload of clientele and devote all my focus into helping people. Instead of taking hours each week going back and forth with insurance, I devote that time and energy to my clients, resulting in better outcomes for therapy.

How do I set up an initial appointment?

After our initial consultation if we are a fit for one another we will set up your initial appointment together.

What is your cancellation policy?

I require at least a 24 hour notice for every cancellation, or the full session fee will be charged.

How much paperwork do I have to fill out?

You will have to sign or fill out approximately 7 documents per person online.

What can I expect in a first session?

The first session is very much a getting to know you session where each person will have the chance to express their reasons for therapy and what they hope to gain from couple’s therapy. We will then take that and construct goals for the two of you as a couple to work on going forward. There will be times when I request to see each of you individually for one session prior to seeing you for the first time as a couple.

With whom do you work?

My ideal clients are couples who are having a tough time dealing with trust, infidelity, communication, or any other issue germane to problems in the relationship whether married or dating.

What is your approach?

My approach is a mixture of Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Narrative Therapy, The Gottman Method, and Collaborative Language Systems. My experience has shown me that some couples presenting problems and personalities respond the same to each modality, so we discover what works best for your relationship.

How long will it take?

This varies per couple due to the nature of what each couple is dealing with. Our goal is to be able to see tangible progress within 8-10 sessions.

Will I have homework?

Yes, homework may be given often as my assessment of the relationship deems it necessary.

How often will we need to have a session?

Generally, sessions are done weekly, but scheduling can be adjusted as need be for time and budget constraints.
